Anybody confirm/deny? If he’s under house arrest, why don’t they turn him over?

I have heard it once - but that’s about it. and come’on house arrest? what did they call him up an asked if he would please stay home as he is under arrest?

I heard that report on I think MSNBC around 3AM (West coast) Wednesday night (Thursday morning), but not any of the other networks. Late Thursday evening I think everyone was reporting that his whereabouts were unknown, so I’m not sure which report is correct.

Keep in mind that the report doesn’t say B.L. is under house arrest; it says that spokesman for the Taliban embassy in Pakistan says B.L. is under house arrest. It also says that Powell has not confirmed that he is.
