bitch bitch bitch

I am offended by the term bitch It is most often used in a derogatory fashion towards women. I wish people wouldn’t use the word.

Thank you.

I’m offended by damn yankees using ‘Southerners’ or ‘the South’ in the vein of ‘you cross burning, cousin loving, house living, horse riding hicks’.

Just because we let you win the War of Northern Aggression, doesn’t mean we’re backwards.

Doesn’t happen so often with newer generations, but I really got a lot of that kind of predjudice when I lived up north.
As for bitch, I don’t want anyone calling my girlfriend that, but she refers to herself that way at times. I usually avoid the word, too much hate in some people’s definition of it, regardless of how I use it.

I thought it was mostly used by gay men to describe other gay men…

I’ll just duck my head and run now…

I’m offended by the name Rhonda.

jarbabyj, I thought You- two didn’t like Tootsie in Rhonda.

Well then, what am I supposed to say when I want to casually denigrate a women?

I’m wishing for french fries.

I’ll bet my wish comes true.

there are plenty of denigrating words that aren’t gender specific.

As an Italian-American, I’m offended by Burger King calling their hamburger a Whopper. I’ve wanted to bitch about this for a long time, but I’m pretty niggardly with my complaints.

Scylla: Get thee to your local fast-food establishment… or if you want classier fries, go to another casual restaurant if you want French fries.

grienspace, I totally agree. I’ve been guilty of using that word myself way too often in the past, but not now. However, if I want a word to describe a female dog, then that will be it.

Revtim, couldn’t you use the word rant instead. Your use of the word bitch is synonymous with “nag”, suggesting a stereotypical behaviour of women.

Yes I could, but I chose to use the word “bitch” instead.

Well, I’m stumped. I cannot think of a single non gender specific word that carries the meanings and connotations that the word bitch does. And anyway, if it gets replaced with another word, eventually that word will come to mean exactly what bitch does, and be used exactly how bitch is, and then you’ve got a new complaint. Sorry, it’s a good word with a useful meaning, and I’ll continue to use it when appropriate.

Shrew? Oh wait…

It only seems to bother me when it comes from a man. My best friend and I use it as a term of affection for one another.

I wish people wouldn’t be so niggardly during the holiday season.
I wish people wouldn’t burn those faggots all over the place.
I wish people would stop taking away words from the English language because one interpretation of it tends to offend a small but vocal portion of the population.

  1. The word is Jingletits

  2. We’re all being wooshed, are we not? I believe this is a parody of the Gay Man with A Caveat thread.

Rhonda Rhonda Rhonda.

and HEEEEEERE it is!

House living?
