Aki “Black Vulture” Takamaki is now the head of the Yaling Triad family.
What a badass nickname.
Yeah, the RNG gods smiled upon her.
Joined the syndicate right after high school was had been with them for 29 years when the previous boss, “Ebon Tortoise”, succumbed to old age. I don’t know if the nickname of the previous boss was random or deliberate.
Black Vulture Takamaki spent her last few years in prison and died at 107. Her son, Atsushi, sold off some heirlooms and started manufacturing pickups & SUVs. Thanks to his company and the recent financial update, Atsushi has assets worth in excess of $1 billion.
I put Black Vulture Takamaki’s great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandson on hold and looked into the other lives I had on hold today.
I had totally forgotten about Delores Rodriguez from Nicaragua. Last time I played her, she wasn’t doing anything in particular so I decided to check out the new Astronaut career. I sent her back in time to change her college major, moved her to the US after graduation, got her a pilot’s license, then into the Space Program.
The only drawback to being a BitLife astronaut is that piloting spacecraft is a swipe up or down minigame. Like all BitLife minigames which involve swiping, I suck at it. There is always an option to bypass the minigame – by watching a video ad. I doubt I’ll have another bit astronaut.
Thanks to an inheritance, Dolores became a millionaire at the age of 18. Her father somehow managed to get himself sucked into a jet engine. That same year, her 17-year-old nephew died in a mortar attack; this wasn’t the only violent death for someone close to her. At the age of 11, some incendiary rounds hit one of her friends and, two years ago, there was a bombing at a building her mother was in.
Ebenezer Krueger was originally supposed to be a football player and played it in middle school, but his high school didn’t have football so I had him play baseball in high school.
He went on to become a seven-time Gold Glove winning pitcher, two-time Cy Young Award winner (and they actually called it the Cy Young), one-time World Series champion with the Oakland Athletics, and Hall of Famer.
His daughter Martha won four championships in women’s soccer.
