I may be living in a vacuum or something but it seems that last year the news was all abuzz about the wonderful Black Friday specials that Best Buy, Walmart, etc. were having, like the $29 DVD player, $50 hard drive, etc.
I’m still kicking myself for not taking advantage of a couple of specials and so this year I’m going to be one of those nuts standing in line at 3 AM. This requires very meticulous planning. Have there been any announcements of any Black Friday specials by big chains, or do I have to wait until the Sunday newspaper comes out and shuffle through the ads?
Thanks! I’ll be keeping a sharp eye on that site AND buying the papers on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Here’s hoping that Wal-Mart is having another sweetheart Gamecube deal and that Best Buy has dirt cheap RAID cards.

If the savings is particularly good, you’ll probably only get to make it to one or the other. Things go fast. Honestly, it is not worth it. Not. Trust me. I know you won’t, but I’ll waste my breath anyway.
