Black Friday Specials

I may be living in a vacuum or something but it seems that last year the news was all abuzz about the wonderful Black Friday specials that Best Buy, Walmart, etc. were having, like the $29 DVD player, $50 hard drive, etc.

I’m still kicking myself for not taking advantage of a couple of specials and so this year I’m going to be one of those nuts standing in line at 3 AM. This requires very meticulous planning. Have there been any announcements of any Black Friday specials by big chains, or do I have to wait until the Sunday newspaper comes out and shuffle through the ads?

Thanks! I’ll be keeping a sharp eye on that site AND buying the papers on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Here’s hoping that Wal-Mart is having another sweetheart Gamecube deal and that Best Buy has dirt cheap RAID cards. :smiley:

If the savings is particularly good, you’ll probably only get to make it to one or the other. Things go fast. Honestly, it is not worth it. Not. Trust me. I know you won’t, but I’ll waste my breath anyway.
