I am using a BlackBerry Curve of some sort and am generally impressed with it. But I am a far way from being an expert. Perhaps one of you folks could help me.

  1. When I put the BB in Bedside Mode, it does not seem to ring when someone calls. Is there a setting someplace for that?

  2. Can I change the alarm-clock tone? I am ready to strangle one of those “Dancing Impalas.”

  3. Strange one, my BB has a French keyboard layout, but Anglo (QWERTY) keys. That is to say I press A to get Q and W to get Z. Can the keyboard be remapped?

  1. bedside mode = not ringing or making vibes/noises to bother you. Solution to your problem is to create ‘quiet’ profile and enable that if you want it to ring at bedside (yes, like other things in life that are ‘custom’ it takes time)

  2. Go to clock and choose ‘options’ via the menu key and select ‘alarm tune’ to change it.
