No. That would require dealers to think and we’re not very good at that. :wink:

But seriously, that would require keeping track of exactly how much money is on the table. You should have a rough idea, sure, but all I know when paying a stack of red chips yay-high is pay it with a stack of red chips the same height. I don’t care how much money it is (though you should easily be able to call it within $5).

However, say you missed a green chip at the bottom of some guy’s stack. That chip made the difference between hitting your A6 and not hitting your A6. Now you have people who lost who should have won, people who won who should have lost and don’t want to give their windfall back. Just a big mess.

So no. It’s not feasible.

Though some games DO have special rules if the house hand is particularly bad. In Three Card Poker, if the dealer does not “qualify” (have a queen-high or better) one of your bets does not get paid, it only pushes. In another blackjack variant, I believe if the dealer gets 22, all remaining bets push.
