Damn you, friedo! How could you not see something like that? It’s a huge black cable running down the middle of the hallway with CAUTION: INTERNET clearly written on it in large white letters. Apparently you also forgot to dial the Internet back up to full speed.
It wasn’t just a blackout; the Zombie Hamsters ate about 6 hours worth of posts too. Did you remember to stuff all the posts back into the end of the cable before you plugged it in, friedo, or have you secretly taken them all home for your own private feast?

Anyway, that cable that friedo tripped over runs from coast to coast, from Queens through the hub in Chicago all the way out to California. From California there’s a wireless signal to Hawaii, and from there to Southeast Asia. So you can see how tripping the cable would mess everyone up.
