Given the last episode, a direct sequel seems unlikely. Thuogh I suppose they could fill in gaps.

I really enjoyed the original series.
The entire ‘Federation is Evil’ idea was rather startling to all of my Trekker friends.
And I loved the ship.
If it’s as good as the remake of The Prisoner a few years back … it’ll suck.
Oh, and there’s been talk of a revival for years. They’re always just about to remake it. Do they even have a script yet, or a detailed outline for the series? Any cast? I’ll believe it when I see it. Call me when they actually start pre-production.
I have a “sequel” book I bought back in the late 80’s that did a decent job of continuing the storyline, so I have high hopes that it can be managed.
I wonder if all my videotapes of the original series are in decent enough shape to be transferred to DVD, since I can’t watch them anymore.
Is Blake going to be in it?
Will there be seven of them?
If the answer is “yes, throughout” to either of these questions, it will not capture the authentic original spirit of Blake’s Seven.

I have no idea why, for all these years, I never once thought of looking on YouTube for any Blake’s 7 clips or episodes. The fact that I now know they are out there means I am severely tempted to call in sick to work and just stay in bed watching everything again and getting nothing done that desperately needs doing. This is going to be a true test of willpower.
Of course, this could explain why I haven’t heard from either of my children since I sent them the link. Watching B7 was a big part of their childhoods.
I have a friend I haven’t talked to in years, who LOVED that show. She and another friend of hers did a lot of fan videos, and she had a really good (for the tech at the time) about Blake’s 7. I’d never heard of it. (we were both H:Lots fans, if that helps to date my age. She also introduced me to Buffy.)
When I saw this, I immediately tried to find her on FB. Hopefully, I just did.
