I do not get this program in my area. I know it only from “Talk Soup.”
If you are familiar with it, what do you think?
I think it has less to do with a “date” than people competing for the opportunity to be outrageous on camera.

It’s 100% pseudo-voyeurism. By that, I mean that it would be terribly interesting if the people DIDN’T know that they were on camera. With the camera involved, however, there is a sense of, for lack of a better term, bullshit.
Imagine you’re on a date. You’re wanting to impress the person you’re with. Add the knowledge that you are putting yourself on millions of TV screens. You might accidentally step up your mojo to the point where you are no longer charming, but corny. And, the other person will either react for you or the camera. Your call.
Still, I somewhat enjoy the program, but not nearly as much as the movie 20 Dates.
I like it. Its pretty funny, especially the extra narration & screen info where they make it all pretty funny.
I wonder why so many of the guys give their professions as porno stars or producers cause the girls think that’s a really stupid profession.
I’ve never seen a guy on Blind Date that I would even consider dating, and the women. . . . shall I say sleeze bags?
I get the impression that this is the only way these people can get a date.
Yeah, I watch it every night.
What about Change of Heart? “I want to test my boyfriend’s loyalty, so hook him up with a slutty dressing nymph.”
Is that really the compere’s name?
Knda reminds me of a limerick:
There was a young girl of Cape Cod
Who thought babies were fashioned by God
But 'twas not the Almighty
Who hiked up her nightie
'Twas Roger the Lodger, the sod.
