Yes, lets make up facts and then get “roid rage” at those made up facts.
Probably all of those, but one thing I’ve observed about Martin Sheen is that he loves his son and will support him in any way that he can.
I said “if”. Twice.
I don’t think anybody’s said that he has AIDS yet, did they? So far, he’s been diagnosed HIV positive, but with some luck and good treatment, which he certainly can afford, he may never develop AIDS at all.
He looks pretty gaunt. I’m guessing that he’s already beyond that point.
Jesus, what a shitty assed law.
Well, I didn’t INTEND them to get HIV. I just fucked them and didn’t tell em I had HIV. My bad I guess.
If he is on HIV meds as he says he is, it’s extremely unlikely he has AIDS.

Statistically speaking, it’s more likely that he got the virus from sharing needles (unless he has had sex with men) because it’s quite rare for a straight man to get infected from sex with an infected woman.
Needle sharing seems more likely to me, but who knows what the blackmailing parties might have on him. Poor guy.
Poor guy for some values of poor maybe.
Guy shagged every thing he could get his hands on. Partied like there was no tomorrow every day if my understanding is right. Probably engaged in every risky behavior one could come up with.
And it finally bit him?
Unless he had anal sex and if he happened to have another STD like chlamydia, that increases the risk a lot as well.
You are right about the low risk for “normal” sex in otherwise healthy circumstances.
I was harsh, him spreading it is all rumors that are now unsubstantiated. There is no proof he has given the virus to anyone. But someone gave it to Charlie Sheen.
I feel bad for him, he was obviously threatened with being revealed and extorted out of large sums of money during the past four years.
Glad he came out and said it on his own terms. Must be liberating for him.
His doctor said Sheen is healthy, just HIV positive not full blown AIDS.
I bet he got it from a guy. There are tons of rumors he played for both teams. Hell, one of the porn girls tweeted out today that it was common knowledge he hired male hookers as well as female.
People that are HIV+ that also have the financial means and stability for excellent medical care are the lucky ones - they can keep the virus tamped down to nearly undetectable levels. They can lead normal lives and have pretty decent life expectancy. Charlie Sheen is probably one of the lucky ones. (Although I have read that he is anti-vax, so maybe not too good with the critical thinking.)
He didn’t come out on his own terms, he was written up as a blind item and everyone assumed it was him. If that blind item had not been written, I doubt he would have come out.

I heard the same thing from someone who was not trying to spread it as something bad but just matter-of-factly. If you want to keep secrets you probably don’t want to hang out with porn stars.
I have only heard excerpts from the interview. In it he said his financial situation is not great. He just finished a tv show that he was paid $200 million for. It takes talent to blow that much money.
I wonder why he paid the blackmail. HIV is no longer a death sentence, and he has access to good doctors and medicine. If someone famous admitted they had HIV in the 80s it was much different than it is now. And whatever negative stigma there still is in getting HIV, I wouldn’t think it would affect his reputation too much, since he’s already known as a wild party guy. I can think of some actors who if they had to admit they had HIV it would hugely affect people’s perceptions, but not Charlie Sheen.
Probably because it will be inferred that he got it from having sex with men. It doesn’t jive well with his playboy persona.
It’s either sex with men or needle sharing (again, because the odds of a male catching the virus from sex with an infected female is vanishingly small) - but now that it’s circulating that he was indeed having sex with men, he’s going to get the Gay tag as well as the HIV+ tag, deservedly or not.
Probably not going to do his career any favors.
Given the lifestyle he’s led, I’d say it’s beyond debate that his critical thinking skills could use some work.
