Block the Flash plugin popup?

Whenever I sign onto STD, or even change forums (and randomly at other times) I get a popup that says something like “you need a plugin to properly display this page”, then a box “Install Flash?” I did it once. The main result was that at random times STD would stall and a box would open that said that Flash was frozen, should it be ignored? I always chose ignore and then things were fine. Finally I uninstalled Flash and STD works fine, except that now I get this popup all the time. Is there any way to disable it? STD is not a graphic-heavy site at all.

This is Win 7 with the Mozilla browser, whatever the latest version is (34.0) and I have chosen to block popups.

What is the STD site?

You can get Flashblock for Firefox:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/flashblock/

Sorry, I meant TSD (this site, to be exact); in fact I just had to close that popup again. In the meantimes, I have deleted all Adobe programs from my computer. I use a different pdf reader and the other was something call Adobe Air, which seems to be for programmers. Adobe is evil. I cannot block this popup, which bugs me several times a day.

Get Adblock AND Flashblock, or just subscribe to remove ads ($10/year).

It’s how you protect your computer from catching STD’s.
