So, I liked them both but only had the Al Kooper BS&T and Chigago III; I’ve been picking up a few other early Chicago cds - CTA, CII, III & V - is Live at Carnegie worth getting a hold of? I’ve heard conflicting reports, and I expect I have studio cuts of everything they play, but I do like live stuff…
And what DCT BS&T is recommended?
<Sneaky look at my friend Zip> All of anything DCT does with BS&T is recommended, Meurglis </Sneaky look at my friend Zip>

Special note to Zip: Still trying to get my song to you, and I haven’t forgotten about checking out Child is Father…! I have been furiously looking for it in my cd albums and cannot find it! But I know it’s here somewhere!
Russian Roulette, wasn’t it, John?

I agree with you, AT, I recently bought a bass and started learning how to play (I have to use a felt pick because I have rheumatoid arthritis in the middle finger of my right hand - I can’t bend that finger, so think about me flipping you off and you’ll have some idea of what I am going through! :D), and so I have started listening to the bass parts of certain songs - Chigago being one of these - and I thought to myself; “Damn! He’s dancing on that fretboard with only four strings!”
McCartney, too , has made that instrument his own, and so many others I could name… Duck Dunn for instance?
Because of the friggin Alzheimer’s I haven’t picked up my Rogue Beatle Bass in a while, but I look at her , and tell her that as soon as I get my meds regulated, I’ll be back, and she says, “I’ll be here, Darling!”
Thanks for your post ** Argent Towers**.
(Hmmmmm… makes me think of Rod Argent of The Zombies, but the Towers part, I don’t get, unless that IS your real name?)

I don’t mean to pry, but you’ve mentioned that you have Alzheimers, yet all of your posts seem pretty coherent and organized to me. I wouldn’t know that you had memory problems if you hadn’t said you did. So do you only have a mild form of it or something? Are you on medication that lessens the symptoms?
Nowt to do with the topic, but I just thought I’d say that I saw the Zombies last week! Doing the complete Odessey & Oracle lp.
!!!
Spend a day with me, look at my apartment, think about the things I misplace and when I cannot find them, watch me fly into a rage.
Be with me in my car and watch as I wonder if I just pulled out in front of the car I am seeing in my rear-view mirror.
I am in “Early Onset Alzheimer’s”.
This means I am NOT senile! It just means I forget things very easily, and sometimes this can happen very quickly.
Spend a day with me?
Yes, I can still talk and think, but you have to consider the “normal” every-day things, that I can suddenly not remember.
I don’t know what else to tell you except, “Spend a Day With Me”.
Please
Thanks
Bill
I heard he basically got silly with a firearm, and paid the price.
According to Wikipedia, he was probably intoxicated and showing off with what he thought were unloaded guns.
Christ!
You know it ain’t easy.
