It makes it much easier to type and talk on the phone, since I can’t use my speakerphone at my desk due to background noise. It’s also a necessity when driving.
I just killed my Plantronics discovery 625 after 2 years of great service, but by then the ear loop was all loose, and I don’t want to buy another one.
Any recommendations from the SDMB users?
Work’s payin’, so money isn’t really an issue (to a point), but let’s try to keep it under 100 bucks.
I just started using a Plantronics Voyager 510 (this may be the same one ReticulatingSplines is referring to). It’s been very comfy so far and the sound quality is great. I’m just using it with a desk phone right now, so I haven’t had a chance to test-drive the open air noise canceling and quality.
