I need a bluetooth headset for my motorola Q, tell me which one to buy

I bought one off of ebay awhile back and it’s awful because the backgroud noise that comes through the mic is louder than my voice. I end up turning of the bluetooth halfway through the conversation… so I’m in the market.

I am looking for something that eliminates a lot of the background noise since I talk mostly in my car. Size is also somewhat of a factor. While I’m not the tiniest guy, I don’t want a huge headset that makes me look like a telemarketer.

I’m really looking for clarity over anything. I’m not sure if phone compatability is a factor, but if it is, I have a motorola Q… What have you been happy with??

I hawk cell phones out of a kiosk at Costco’s. We’ve sold the Motorola HS850, H700, and Jabra JX10.

We usually reccomend the H700 on account of it being sleeker, smaller, and shinier than the Hs850. Oh, and it has technology that cuts down on the noise and echo factor. Of the three headsets, it is also the one we’ve had the least returns on.

The Jabra JX10 was returned once for every two sales, for the record. We had such a hard time keeping it out, we no longer even sell it. Top of the line model my ass. Just a heads up.

Owing to my job, I’ve gotten a lot of different models for free. Personally, I think they all aren’t there yet. In a car, it can be kinda okay but not in most environments. Also the bluetooth sucks battery life. I use a smart pda, so battery life is an issue for me.

I had one that worked alright. It was a bluetooth to a clip on mic and a wire to the earphone. I lost it but it was only alright instead of as good as a regular wire earphone/mic.

I talk to customers and can’t afford a bad connection, so I use a wire headset even though the wires are a pain. I had one with retractable wires, which was great, but they were cheap promo giveaways so they sucked too.

Sorry, not trying to hijack or rant, but I’d be really happy if someone can join this thread and highlight a bluetooth device that really works well.
