Body Signals and the Fall of Radical Islam

Snark Hunter–if I have an itchy trigger finger, does this mean I’m going out in a blaze of glory?

Or He doesn’t exist at all, or does exist and doesn’t care to communicate in this way.

Not so fast, Rhodes. What if his dog told him to do it?

Not necessarily, but you might want to get that checked. We Gunslingers have to take good care of what remains of our hands after the lobstrocities get their share of our fingers.

Let me answer that: I find the theory to be completely in harmony with Mormonism. I’d even go so far as to say that anyone who rails against it speaks from ignorance.

No part of this argument gives any indication of a system beyond “what you think” something means. There’s no evidence that anyone could use to assess the viability of your claim, and no means of testing whether a certain claim is right or wrong. It is entirely your own opinion, and yet you have conflated this with reality.

Further, categorically dismissing anyone who says anything bad about Mormonism as acting out of ignorance creates a premise in which no one can levy a legitimate criticism against Mormonism; You deny that a legitimate criticism can even exist.

This is the biggest and dumbest waste of time I’ve seen in quite a while.

And that is entirely your opinion.

Read what I said again. Anyone with a third grade education can plainly see that I was referring to the theory, not to Mormonism, when I said those who speak against it spoke out of ignorance. It’s an example of basic reading comprehension and understanding from context.

That’s your opinion. I don’t expect people to just accept this theory without testing it themselves over time.

No, that is a statement of fact about what you’ve presented to us. There is no way to externally validate your claims. It completely relies on personal revelation.

People in this thread have expressed opinions about your claims, but what **solosam **wrote is not an opinion. It derives precisely from what you’ve written.

Your “theory” fails the sniff test. That’s it’s major failing. And anyway, you can’t call it a theory. At best, it’s a hypothesis.

There are any number of better and more plausable explanations for why you might have an itch behind your knee or on your nose. None of which need the added complexity of a deity to justify the cause. And if you can dismiss the message your deity is trying to send you with a good scratch, then perhaps what he’s trying to communicate to you (if anything at all) is not really that important.

That’s your opinion, nothing more. You speak out of ignorance yourself.

Beats talking out your ass.

I’d like the ram’s opinion on how it turned out.

Bha-ah-ah-ahd!

I never said it was a scientific theory. It’s spiritual in nature.

What part of the word “supplemental” don’t you understand? God’s main means of communication is the Holy Spirit, which is spiritually discerned.

You obviously haven’t joined the fun on this thread. A lot of similarities: errant nonsense yanked wholesale from OP’s ass, incoherent word salad, non-response responses, absolute lack of debate (Great or otherwise).

I understand this forum winds up attracting a lot of that latter, just because it’s also the designated toxic waste dump for preaching, but it does rather diminish the idea of reasoned debate.

It makes me feel like I’ve wandered into a Monty Python sketch.

There’s this “theory” that claims you can improve your health through Earthing - using the earth’s electronic field and grounding yourself. It’s bullshit woo, but at least we can all agree that the earth and electrons exist, and walking barefoot on the cool grass has a relaxing effect which can be beneficial to some. What you’re suggesting isn’t even grounded (pun intended) on anything that we can commonly agree on.

Who makes these rules and how do you know you’re describing them correctly?

Experience, time and logic. I’m fairly sure I’m describing them correctly; however, I like to keep an open mind and I acknowledge my possible fallibility.

Tell you what: If you (or anyone reading this thread) carefully watch your body signals for 20 years and THEN come and post your conclusions, I’d be much more attentive to your results.

I have and I do. I pay attention when my body signals that I’m tired, or hurt, or sleepy, or hungry, or need exercise, or need to see a doctor. But I don’t focus on every itch or twitch and spend time ruminating about it’s meaning. I have a job, a wife, a family, a life; Ain’t nobody got time for that.
