Interesting movie by the producers of ‘The Big Short’ (which is what inspired us to see it).

Interesting film about the #metoo movement and Roger Ailes sexual harassment as head of FoxNews.

I went in thinking it would be more political. But it really wasn’t. Yes, FoxNews is divisive, and there are things shown that indicate the people who work at FoxNews get pushback for doing so it’s not really shown judgementally by the filmmakers.

Instead we get a movie more about how sexism and showbusiness combine - when at the top - to make a truly toxic environment for all people downstream.

More interesting and sensitive than I thought it would be.

Glad to hear your assessment. I may see it now. I was worried it would be too heavy handed

Yes, My politics are way to the left of Bernie Sanders and I loathe Fox “News” with a passion, but I really liked Bombshell and will see it again (I have Regal Unlimted so it’s basically free). This is shallow but I don’t know if I would have liked it as much if unknown actresses had played the main roles,. I loved watching Nicole Kidman, Charlize Theron and Margot Robbie in action. The only character I really liked was Jess (Kate McKinnon), who I know is not based on a real person, but was the most likeable.
