Okay, *that *makes sense. I just found it odd that a prosecutor would say that. Of course, there was quite a bit of odd dialogue in this ep. And, yeah, I caught the discrepancy wrt the brother offering to testify for the defense and the prosecution calling him. It didn’t even seem like they knew where they were going with it until he mentioned his job interview.
Very odd trial, indeed.
