Boo-yah - exam week.

In the true spirit of exam week I have made this.
While procrastinating, of course.

That is hilarious. May I make that into a LiveJournal icon?

I had two exams Tuesday. Spanish I didn’t really worry about, as I had gotten a 95 and a 99 respectively on the 2 exams we had taken earlier in the semester. I was a bit annoyed, however, with her vocabulary section. The woman does not know how to right a vocabulary clue. Even if you know the vocabulary word, and understand exactly what the clue is saying, it is often difficult to match the two up because they rarely make that much sense together.

I studied my ass off for political science. And it totally paid off. The exam consisted of 5 essay questions. I love the feeling where you can get an exam, glance at the questions, and realize that you know the answers to all of them.

The macroecomics exam was a bit difficult, but my oh-so-wonderful professor posted grades online the day later, and I was pleased to see I’d gotten a C on the exam. I managed to get a B for the year, especially because I’m one of his favorite, most participatory students.

The geology exam multiple choice was great, but the essays kind of sucked. It didn’t help that I was taking it on 4 hours of sleep, either. I think I did okay, though.

And now I’m home for a month. No exams, no homework, no educational reading (except on subjects I want to learn more about myself). This is awesome.

Of course!

Actually I had time so I just made one. Feel free to use the icon or the quote in another one though.

I just wanted to mention how it was coincidental that I took personality and social psych this semester too. 217 and 238. Heh.

Ah, Psychology major, too? Or just really interested in the subject matter? Personality and Social Psych were one class for me, smushed into a semester. Now I’m all finished with the required classes for my Psych major (woot! just finished it all today!), and next semester I’m underloading and finishing up a Religion major and trying to find a job. I’m thinking televangelist, tarot card reader, or bartender. Kidding, of course - who would hire a Baptist to be a bartender? :stuck_out_tongue:

Tomorrow it’s time to clean out my wretched mess of an apartment, do laundry, pack, and chill with the roommate. Then it’s off to the frozen tundra that is New England. Exciting times.

Be sure to go stuff your face somewhere. It’s practically necessary after exams.

Ah, exam week! It only began Friday, but I’ve already taken three of my five, two biology and one take-home for Linguistics. I passed the first one, but I suspect that I only performed at the B- to C+ level, because I made some stupid mistakes. It’s always stupid mistakes… luckily, I kicked ass in the course lab, so I should have at least a B, maybe an A (maybe!) in the class. The other bio final went pretty easily, and I’m pretty well assured of an A in that class. The Linguistics (Syntax, in fact) take-home final was EVIL, and took 16 freakin’ pages of answers and diagrams. And I KNOW that I lost at least 16 points out of 150 because I couldn’t for the life of me figure out that last section. So I think I’m looking at a B for that class.

I have one exam scheduled for tomorrow, but don’t have to take it - the prof drops the lowest grade of the five total exams, and I’ve got my A with the first four. Yeah, easy class. So I have one last final remaining on Tuesday afternoon before I pack up and leave. It’s for Anthropology, which hasn’t been a particularly hard class, but has been particularly interesting and enlightening. Not to the extent that I want to study it further, or anything, but it’s a class that truly did “broaden my horizons.” Good stuff.

So, how am I preparing for my exams? Well, I’m going over to some friends’ house in less than an hour to hang out, fix bicycles and eat food. Tomorrow I will build a wheel, clean and pack. I’ll find time to study in the evening and Tuesday morning. “Procrastination: I’ve got better things to do!”[sup]TM[/sup]
