Book Club: March Selection, April nominations

Well it appears Dangerosa will be taking back the book club for March. Her nominee The Way We Never Were, by Stephanie Coontz won by a lanslide.

We are now accepting nominations for the April SDMB Book Club Selections.

It looks interesting. I’ll pick up a copy tomorrow. I’m really enjoying the SDMB Book Club - so far I’ve read two books that I probably would have never thought to pick up on my own.

Florence: A Portrait

Fall On Your Knees by Ann-Marie MacDonald

I have not finished this book yet but so far it’s good. It is available in paper back.

Or

Lazarus and the Hurricane: The Freeing of Rubin “Hurricane” Carter by Sam Chaiton & Terry Swinton

This was the book that the movie The Hurricane (starring Denzel Washington) is based on. A great movie and an amazing story. The book is listed as out of print but Amazon says it ships with 1-2 business days. Also, libraries and used books stores will probably have a copy (my library does).
