Bookbinders' forums, outside of reddit?

Are there any bookbinders’ message boards or forums, outside of reddit? I’m especially interested in any place that welcomes people who are new to the craft and who have lots of questions about tools and supplies.

I wish you luck with this
I love this specialized craft.

I’ve done some myself. Very rudimentary. I love the Japanese way of folding and sewing.

I suspect it can get really expensive. According to the papers and covers you use.
It’s an old old skill that can be done mechanically now. So it’s fell out of favor with the modern crafters.
I found some old books on it and tried my hand.
Very precise and a need to be extra clean with your hands.
Let us know what you find.

First: get a good bone folder.

A mailing list and some Facebook groups:

Thanks, that looks like a place to start (a listserv? I’m old enough, but I never used one). That’s going to take a lot of digging to get stuff out of, thereby keeping me busy and out of mischief.
