Bookmarks in Fiefox

I’ve been having problem with the bookmarks in Firefox. They seem to be indestructible. They can be deleted, but the next time Firefox opens they have returned.

Just a few minutes ago I manually deleted all of them. And you have to do this one at a time. Firefox was closed, and then reopened. All of the bookmarks were magically resurrected just as they had been before deletion.

I’ve searched the Internet for some way to handle this problem, but didn’t have any luck.

If any of you folks have any ideas I would be very grateful.

Thanks for the reply. But I checked out the web site and couldn’t see anywhere that contained a fix for the problem. It seemed to mainly be information about the various processes for bookmarks (among a lot of other stuff), but I didn’t see any solutions.

Sorry, this thread on deleted bookmarks reappearingwill be better. Several solutions there.
