Just contacted them to ask them to list it. Word of warning – there’s a version update so it takes a couple extra minutes to log into to PT. Don’t know whether or not I’ll be able to make it to the game tonight. If I’m not there in virtual reality, I’ll be there in spirit.
Looks like a lot of people played last week. Is this tournament style or one really big table? I’ll probably register this week and play in next week’s game if you’re still open for new folks.
Hey lightningtool we’re always looking for more people. There is talk about moving to PokerStars at some point (see a few posts above), but for now, yup, we’re always happy to have more Dopers on board.

It’s tournament style. We seem to be running between 12 and 16 these days. We usually start with two tables then condense.
And if I hadn’t said it in a while, Aholi, you’re the best. Hope you can make it.

I think we only had 14 last week, we’ve had 16 before I think.
It’s tournament style, anything over 10 players is 2 tables (10 players/table). We’ve never had more than 2 tables going. Blinds start out at $5/10 and increase every 15 minutes, 5 minute breaks on the hours.
You have to fund at least 20 to get registered on the site and give **Aholibah** your PokerTropolis user name and ID number (not your password) so she can get you on the list. You can't even watch the tourney without being on the list. It costs .10 to join the tourney, .50 to "the house" for using their site, so .60/week to play. Pays the top 3 places, just getting your $.60 back is pretty good 
We’ve never turned anybody away, but we’ve had a few players who only made it a week or so.
If I can make it at all this week I’ll be botting it for the first bit. Of course, lately my late-game goal has been to just hang around long enough to outlast the bots, so it might be an improvement anyway.
Dang, Capn and Nesta both bottin’ it early, both prolly beat my ass… And Aholibah, too!
I can’t even log in to Pokertropolis.
I didn’t have any trouble, but I did have to take the update. My firewall asked if it was OK to run the new version, might be a firewall issue??
It kicked me off for system maintenance and won’t let me back on yet. We’ve got plenty of time, unless someone had to run out and was hoping on joining the bot ranks.
At the moment, the site is down for “maintenance.” They have an hour to get back up, dangit!
Aw come on! Just had to do maintenance on Thursday evening? How long’s it take to felch a goat?

To say that sucked would be an understatement…
For those of you lucky enough to have missed last night, a recap.
The game started 5 minutes late, if that only been the worst thing that happened.
Then it locked up, and finally asked you to try to log back in.
Finally got it started back up an hour later and we actually still had more than one table full after the delay.
We played fine for an hour, right up until the first break. Then it wouldn’t come back after the break. So an hour wasted just getting started, then another hour wasted playing half of a tourney that couldn’t be finished.
I see Defective Yeti got honorary 10th place, the friggen site wouldn’t even let him take the update (which is probably a good thing, seeing as how the update seemed to work sooooo great).
So things started back up again at 10 central time? And then it failed at about 11 central?
Yeah, we started back up with a clean slate at 10 Central, or really 10:07:30 I think. Same thing as when it started 5 minutes late at 9 Central, but 7 and 1/2 minutes after the top of the hour this time.
Everything was going fine, and we had 2 tables active. Made it to the break and the game just crashed coming out of the break. Couldn’t log back on or anything.
We’d already scrubbed it as an “official” game, but it would have been nice to be able to play it on out.
