Has anyone else seen this movie? It came out a couple of months ago for rent on video & DVD, and I just saw it. Truly amazing! I loved the movie. So much so that yesterday when I saw a couple of the copies were for sale, “previously viewed”, I picked one up.
It’s about two Irish Catholic brothers (Sean Patrick Flanery & Norman Reedus) in Boston, who have a spiritual revelation and decide to rid the city of crime. They go on a vigilante killing spree. Willem Dafoe is a brilliant, eccentric, gay FBI agent on their trail. He’s literally in crime scenes as he explains what happened at them. Anyway, he finds himself sympathizing with the criminals. Billy Connolly is also in it, as a hitman for the mob.
The thing is, I didn’t really hear anything about the movie before I saw it. I heard about it from a friend, and then I told people about it, and now it seems like all of my friends are talking about this movie.
Anybody else seen this movie?
I loved it. I just happened to pick it up, and I saw that Willem Dafoe & Billy Conolly were in it. I rented it just for that, and was very pleasantly surprised. I would reccommend it highly. I think I’m going to rent it again tonight. Or you could invite me over, rob
Consider this an open invitation, anytime you like.
