Please help me, I did not watch the entire show.
Did the audience boo Richard Gere? What did he say?
I read that they gave Hillary a bad reception. But what did Gere do that was so bad? They did not boo The Who and poor Roger Daultry has lost his voice.
Please tell me what happened.

He said something to the effect that “Now is the time to take all this war-frenzied energy and channel it into peaceful solutions.”
Not an exact quote, but the intent is pretty much it.

Wow they sure are worked up about this in the Pit. 
I find it interesting that no media people commented on Jim Carrey’s horrendously embrassing performance. He tells NYC firefighters(while in New York no less) to “get the hell out of here” and impersonates a flag flopping around wildly? Good God. After seeing that, I could only come up with two solutions:
a.) He’s no improv star and couldn’t come up eith anything good give the situation
b.)He was toking seriously and thought that it was funny in his mind.
