I have discovered Boots No7 Redness Relief Gel, which while it doesn’t (yet) seem to be doing a lot for the overall redness from my rosacea it does make my skin feel a lot better - less inflamed and itchy.
I can buy it places like Amazon, drugstore.com and Target for $20 per 1 fl oz (30ml) bottle. Not hideously expensive, but I was wondering what it costs at an actual Boots store. I am in Canada from time to time and will be in the UK next fall. I was wondering if I need to bring an extra suitcase to cart back all the Boots No7 gel I can lay my hands on. (joke, but I would bring back 4 or 5 bottles if the price was good).
Boots.com shows it as 18GBP, which is a worse! price than here in the states.
As far as I know, Boots is no longer in Canada. I remember them having a store in Square One mall in Mississauga, but that was 20 years ago. I think they got bought out.
Edit: Looking around on the Boots site, I see that the No. 7 skin cream is available at Shoppers Drug mart in Canada. SDM is all over the place in Canada.
I’m afraid I think it’s unlikely to be cheaper in store than it is on Boots.com - it’s all part of the same company, though I can’t easily get to a large Boots store to confirm that for you.
I stopped by Shoppers Drug Mart just now (by Union Station in Toronto), and they had a whole bunch of Boots No. 7 products on sale, but I couldn’t find a Redness Relief Gel.
No 7 is the Boots more expensive “designer style” own brand, so I can believe that it would be £18 in store. My local store has a small No 7 range, I’ll see if it has it next time I’m in, but I suspect it’ll be £18 there too.
I suspect you’re out of luck. Even though we can get it here, I know my wife buys some kind of Boots #7 something-or-other when we’re in the States because (like pretty much everything else) it’s cheaper there.
