I’m wearing mine today! Second time this week. 
I’m alsowearing my boots today. Of course I don’t actually have any shoes that aren’t boots.
I wore my boots yesterday! (They need to be polished over the toe, but details, details.)
A good pair of boots, like a good lipstick, can change your entire day. 
I went shopping for boots last week, and couldn’t find any I like. I have a horrible fear that I’ll be bootless this year!
But then I remember my Super Shoe Shopping Powers, and I feel better about it.

I also love boots, and they are the only semi-dressy kind of shoe I wear…basically, for when I’m told I can’t wear athletic shoes, or it’s too cold for Birkenstocks.
Why do I like boots? Because they grant freedom from worry about sock colors!

I can never find boots I like. sigh
All I want is a pair of knee-high, leather boots with a very low heel. No tooling work. No pointy toes. No fringe. No metal decorations, buckles or studs. No tassles.
Obviously, this is too much to ask.
Lest anyone be surprised that I have something to contribute on the subject…
But I’m getting a pair of these and probably these in the brown. 
You can’t find non-pointy-toed boots this year, I don’t think. I found a pair that were perfect but they wouldn’t fit over my ginormous calves. Story of my life.
Are they made for walking?
If you look like the model, nobody will notice the boots.
Seriously, they are a bit much in that people will notice how often you wear them. Not a problem if you don’t care but you might be better off with a more classic sleek boot without the fringes.
These would be great if not for that damn buckle ring on them. sigh

Unless I’m wearing shorts, 'tis always the season for boots. My standard footwear is a pair of very simple black cowboy boots – even with a suit. I’ve been a boot guy since high school.
Which drives me nuts. And even worse, they all have those clunky heels. I found some I love at Nu Pair, but they’re the cheapie ones that fall apart. Happily, I can shop for boots forever and not get tired of it.
Last night I was over my gf’s house and she was wearing black, shiny, knee high, high heeled boots. I told her they were not “made for walking”. She agreed. Good times, good times.
Og help me, I read that as “plain boobs.” Which, naturally, made me think of pudding.
No, the rest of you don’t want to know.
Bwahahahaha. Pudding in the boots would just be squelchy. As for the other, it had to be plain. It’s not like I could have gotten away with using pistachio.
