It’ll grow back is right. At least you didn’t set anything on fire. That seems to be the usual direction boredom goes.
THIS time, you mean. So, um … has your wife seen this yet, Hal?
Might I just note how great she was about this? I told her the other day that I was seriously considering shaving my head, but I gave her veto power on the idea. She asked for a day to sleep on it, and then last night she handed me the shaver and told me to go for it. Hell, she handled the back part which I would’ve wound up utterly screwing up.

As a fellow head-shaver, I offer only one warning: what would seem to be a tiny razor nick on your scalp will bleed like a sunuvabitch. It’s easy to do, too, especially early in the morning when you’re trying to maneuver a razor around your ear.
So what color are you gonna dye your hair now Hal? You gonna take up the guitar and start doing shows which end with you smashing the guitar against everything in sight?

Apparently not on #3 – my windows are open but I can’t hear any hysterical screaming or crying.

It’s funny–it’s not such a big deal, but you look so respectable in the first picture, and someone I’d be leery of in the second. 
And it’s not such a big change. Perception is funny.
Yea, I’ve done some odd things while bored. Once I shaved my legs to see if it really took as long as my girlfriend said it did.
It does take a while.
