My cup of tea is going cold.
I made hot chocolate with evaporated milk and water - very nice.
I almost didn’t put in the thread, for fear of breaking the boredom.
Today, I went to Costco. But I didn’t buy anything.

We got two inches of snow today. It’s melting already.
That is how it is for us too, our snow is also melting.
That’s so exquisitely…boring. Yet, me too.
I went to B.J.'s which is basically the same as Costco. I bought all their bags of kale, all four of them. Kale is a superfood and really, really good for you. I eat it every day. The best way to cook it is just to sautee it in olive oil with fresh garlic and peppers of your choice. Yumm. I don’t want too many people to start liking kale however. That would cause the stores to run out and the price to go up. I had enough trouble finding it today as it was. On second thought, stay away from kale. It is probably covered in pesticides that can never be washed off.
You’ve got me interested - these are the varieties I can grow in Calgary: Dinosaur, Red Russian, Winterbor, Westlandse, Improved Siberian and Redbor. I will add them to my garden next summer.
Kale is not boring if it is prepared correctly. Perhaps it should not be in this thread. But it should be in soup.
You have redeemed yourself.
No, wait, that may be considered exciting…
It’s OK.
I should probably get up.
I have one segment of orange left from breakfast.
Now I have none.
Oh, it is time to change the cat box. I better go do it, before it gets any worse.
I got my oil changed today… it was time.
I just hung up from an hour-and-a-half phone call from someone who dialed my number by mistake. One thing led to another as we mentioned people we knew who knew people he (I think it was a guy) knew and so on and so forth until the time had just slipped away. I never did get his (or her) name or phone number. Oh, well…
Just talked to a lawyer friend who had an oral argument before the Court of Appeals yesterday. She thinks she’s going to lose her case.
Mmm, breakfast banana.
I can not believe it…the cat box again, I gotta start buying kitty litter in bulk, those darn cats.
If you quit feeding them, they won’t mess up the box.
If it would stop snowing i am pretty sure they would go outside. I cannot understand why they do not go out in the snow. They play out there, what.. do they hold it all in until they get inside the house? I would go out in the snow if I were a cat, and I am pretty sure that other peoples cats go out in the snow, although I have never pressed anyone else for information on it.
