I was looking at the job ads last night, and one of the ads said, “Looking for Cat Whisperer.”
It was an ad for someone to do some house and pet-sitting - I’m totally tempted to answer and tell them it’s my online username!
And in other news, I efiled our income taxes today. Finally.
I just managed to make a delicious lunch out of the yogurt I had been meaning to eat for a while and the frozen peaches that have been in my freezer too long.
I got flipped off by an Optimist yesterday. I know he was an Optimist because he was in an Optimist Club van.
I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed getting flipped off more.
I always wondered why they don’t have a “Pessimist’s Club”. I’d love to join!
I stepped in cat barf (I hope that’s what it was) this morning. Fortunately, I was wearing socks.
I just finished watching several versions of “Spiders and Snakes” on youtube.
It will NEVER happen! :D:D:D
It’s been rainy and dreary all day today, but my yard and garden needed it, so yay! I, however, just went and had a nap. A nice, rainy, dreary day nap.
Why bother? It’s not like anyone would show, the meetings would probably suck and not even donuts!
I got to kiss a girl today! mmmmmmm…
My knees still hurt. Have to stop running for a while and rest up a bit before swimming.
I had a nice walk to the library and back; it was drizzling and blowing, but I wanted to get out and exercise, so exercise I did. I think I need a hot shower to warm up now.
One of my puppies barfed on my bed. Luckily it was cold last night so the denim blanket was on top of the down blanket and now I don’t have to go to the dry cleaners.
My knees hurt. Fat out of shape people shouldn’t wash 800sf of hard wood floors on their knees if they want to walk for the rest of the day.
You all need to come join the MMP. This is exactly the kind of stuff we talk about there!
The MMP is a little…private clubby for my taste.
In the opposite of a mini-rant, I bought a Panasonic phone last summer that crapped out about a month ago. I sent an email to their support people, and after scanning my receipt and serial number and sending them the jpegs, a new AC adapter is on its way to me, no more questions asked. That’s not half bad. Mind you, an AC adapter should probably last longer than 10 months, but that’s how things go sometimes.
I need a curl whisperer. I know they’re trying to ask me something but I can’t figure out what it is. I feel the onset of a rebellion and I’m scared.
Really? From the first post in the MMP really I felt welcomed. It’s just everyone’s been posting a long time together.
We’ve been unusually humid the last couple of days, and my hair has gone from normally wavy to fairly curly - I like it, though.
I had a really good poop today. I hadn’t pooped for a couple of days because I didn’t eat lunch. But today’s poop was epic. I didn’t even think it was unusual until I turned around and saw that the poop had filled the little tunnel thing and was about 3-4 inches up the side of the bowl. Eyeballing, I would say it was over a kilo of poop.
Also, I would like to say that thanks to this thread, I no longer feel the need to call my wife and inform her of what a truly awesome poop I had today.
That’s what we have sisters for in my family. Truly epic poops have pictures taken which are then texted to both sisters.
My sister in VA is the main culprit for sharing her poops through text. My sister in NY and I just tend to talk about them over IM.
I found my missing MP3 player today. The best part is I remembered where I stashed it for safe keeping instead of having to tear everything apart looking for it.
I found out where the mystery chicken we observed last week came from. A neighbor now has a coop.
I remembered recently that bad days can be improved by watching clouds. Note: total overcast doesn’t work, but any kind of structure is interesting.
Even though the recent rains have kept me off of the trails, just riding my road bike yesterday made me feel good.
