Bosda Bought A Swiss Army Knife!

I love Swiss Army Knives. And I swear by Victorinox

And, for the first time in 4 years, I’m getting one!

Here! Look Here at this link!

I’ve had bigger ones, but this looks like a great compromise between size & features.
The winning point was the pliers and scissors.

I’ve liked my pocket Leatherman, but it’s simply too flimsy.

Anybody else love Swiss Army Knives? As if I had to ask!

I’m telling MOM!
Oh, and remember - pointy side out.

I like Swiss Army knives, but how the heck do the Swiss expect to win any wars with these things?

So, have you fought back a battalion of Nazi’s then cooked a ten course meal with it yet?

I have the Climber . I love this knife. It’s been run over, steeped in a mud puddle and dropped multiple times. I used it to trim wallpaper after getting tired of changing razor blades for each and every cut. I would like one that also includes a philips head driver and those pliers (very handy), in addition to the scissors and corkscrew, but without all those tools I will never use. I have no use for a fish scaler.

I have that one too!

I think I own three Swiss Army Knives. I know I own every Leatherman Juice Tool they make, but I can carry the Swiss Army Knife in my pocket when I can’t wear the Leatherman on my belt…while wearing a suit, for instance.

How many have you bought for friends? Did you get a pack of spare toothpicks?

Victorianox and leatherman all the way. I like a simple swiss army knife: scissors, file saw and blades. The thin blades are great for so many things.

Leatherman, has to be the wave. I lost mine and replaced it with the top of the line Juice. big mistake. No blade locks. one handed operation is so very far from easy, and the grip is uncomfortable when pliering tough loads.

I miss my wave. Nothing beats it on a long canoe trip.

The Victorinox multitool is far superior to the leatherman, not only because of the blade-locking, but the tools lock as well. Also you do not need to open the tool up to get to anything but the pliers. The pliers would be slightly more usefull if they had a more tapered design, but the superior tools more than make up for it.

Leatherman tools always result in busted knuckles when doing things at difficult angles or trying to turn difficult screws.

Nah, just use the bottle-opener to pop a few and get 'em drunk enough to quit fighting.

I have the soldier. A good knife with a simple design. Also, the grip is very good.

Which one?
