Bosda's very sick.

My Mom has had a relapse and is back in the hospital, on antibiotics and fluids . . . A sinus doctor shoved a camera up her nose, and she may have to have minor surgery. The infection is giving her headaches, nausea, even blackouts and memory loss (they’ve done CAT scans, MRIs and X rays to make sure her brain is OK) . . . In fact, if I’m not on the Boards next week, it means I’m in Phila. “Sinus infections are serious and can lead to life-threatening conditions,” her doctor says.

Crap. Remind me not to get old . . . I hope I take after my father’s side of the family and drop dead at 60 . . .

Don’t go back to work immediately. Take a few days to fully recover and not have another relapse. You also run less risk of infecting your colleagues.

My strength seems to be returning by the hour.

I had a full dinner last night, despite my tender throat.

My mother’s begun to show initial symptoms, but was started on antibiotics immediately by her doctor (she is a recovering cancer patient).

Dad seems fine, but is going to his doc for antibiotics, as he is a recovering heart patient, & will use them at the first sign of a problem.

Glad to hear you are feelin better. I have been there many many times! For awhile it looked as if I was just going to live in the bathroom and send out for food:D

Take it easy… don’t overdo it!
