This is extremely short notice, for which I apologize on behalf of the “organizers”, but please hold the griping. There is a Boston mini-dopefest tonight. (I’ve been trying, on and off, for two days to do a search to see if anyone has already posted a notice, but the search engine keeps hanging.)
Where and when:The Boston Billiard Club, just outside Kenmore Square, starting about 7 pm, Saturday, June 21st. Pool playing skill is welcome, but not necessary. You do, I just discovered, need to be 21 years of age, or older.
Once again, I apologize for the lack of notice, but I realized that some of the people from the last Dopefest hadn’t signed up for the mailing list for future 'fests. And, I can’t email you, because I can’t look you up.
Yeah, we should have posted this a long time ago. (But, it wasn’t my job. I guess the problem was, it wasn’t anyone’s job.)
Anyone interested in future Dopefests in Boston should gohere, and search for the group bostondopers, and sign up. That way, you’ll be on the mailing list. We had a good time, but it would be great if more people could come to future get togethers.
Lessee…betenoir suggested the June date (I’d suggested October, I believe, not knowing how often they were supposed to occur), Tanookie suggested 7 pm. (I’d thrown out 8 pm, as the initial time), and I suggested Jillian’s, but we ended up at Boston Billiards. So, what part of this was my idea? Okay, the pool-playing was my idea. But, who is the group administrator, on Yahoo? Oh! That would be you!
