Loved the exchange at the end that went something like this:
Denny: can I go out with her? [Alan’s ex]
Alan: You just called her a cold-hearted bitch!
Denny: I know; I like that. Can I go out with her?
I am liking this season very, very much.
Hard to believe they could win that cockfighting case. Occasionally a jury will acquit based on a belief that the law in question is unjust, but it seems unlikely 12 people would all be so quickly convinced that cockfighting was okay.
Sack presented his case well (that cockfighting was more humane than the way chickens are raised in factory farms and then slaughtered). What was that nonsense about chickens being “smarter than dogs”, though?
