I miss the idealistic and brilliant Bobby Donnel from that show! Wish he would show up on a Boston Legal ep. Alan Shore’s first few episodes on “The Practice” were sheer genius, as were Denny Crane’s.
As for the Alzheimer’s issue, I seem to recall Alan and Denny visiting some doctor and getting brain scans a few seasons ago. Alan wanted to know what was causing his “Brain Salad” and Denny wanted to know about the Mad Cow…if I remember right.
