I don’t know about exceptions, but for the most part the Supreme Court ruled this was free speech in Hustler Magazine, Inc. v. Falwell.

Yes it was. The four of them got married in Nimmo Bay, BC, which is the same place Denny and Alan had gone for their previous fishing trip (where Alan found himself arguing against farm raised salmon and salmon lice, or whatever they were)

I thought it was one of the other Justices, but it could have been Cheney.
