OK. I’m going out on a limb here. If I carefully parse the DQ answers, nothing excludes this possibility. We may have gotten sidetracked by the daytime Emmy answer and are missing the bigger picture. #16 explicitly referred to the Emmy-winning show and not anything else.
My Are You? question:
Are you LeVar Burton, who I believe won multiple daytime Emmys for hosting and producing Reading Rainbow?
None of the other answers rule out Roots and Star Trek: The Next Generation
(Of course, if he gets the Jeopardy gig, then the answer to #23 changes)
This inspired me to look it up. Fun trivia: All 4 best lead actor Emmy nominees for 1977 were from Roots - LeVar Burton (young Kunta Kinte), Ben Vereen (Chicken George), John Amos (old Kunta Kinte), and the winner Lou Gossett Jr. (Fiddler)
IQ1: Were you a Navy officer who was killed when a remotely piloted bomb exploded prematurely?

IQ3: Were you Mrs Peel’s replacement?
IQs:
1. In Xanadu did you a stately pleasure dome decree?
2. Did you think it might be fun to run a newspaper?
3. Do you write the Mary Russell mysteries?
Not Katchaturian - I probably butchered the spelling, despite having to write a one-paragraph bio on him in high school
Take a DQ
Take another DQ - unless you meant Ricardo Montalban, in which case I am not KHAAAAANNN!!
Were you first officer of the USCSS Nostromo?
Have you played a soccer player, a codebreaker, a bounty hunter and a whistleblower?
Were you (perhaps unfairly) the bad guy in Breaker Morant?
