IQ1: Were you the drummer for Yes, Genesis and King Crimson at various times in the 70s?
IQ2: Were you a Canadian hero in the War of 1812?
IQ3: Are you a henchman in “Much Ado about Nothing”?
DQ.
DQ.
Not Beelzebub.
Good. I don’t need to smack myself for not recognising him.
Three DQs.
Don’t feel too bad - etv’s entire Martin Luther game the other day happened while I was at work.
B
- Real
- Male
- Dead
- Last name does not start with B
- American
Quote:
#1 is actually 007, Bond, James Bond (“No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!”)
#2 is Bode Miller.
DQs
- Died after 1950?
- In the Arts?
I’ve been away for a bit. So we’re on to B?
IQ1: Is your backup band called the Jets?
IQ2: Were you there with Pontius Pilate when he was asked to wewease Wodewick?
IQ3: Should I lean on you when I’m not strong?
Benjamin Button, as in the Curious Case of.

IQ1: Are you a woman who helps two special effects technicians cause spectacular destruction in the name of science?
IQ2: Are you a man who helps two special effects technicians cause spectacular destruction in the name of science?
IQ3: Do two special effects technicians subject you to spectacular destruction in the name of science?
(Sorry - missed these because you posted while I was composing my last post.)
As far as I know, Laura Secord was the only Canadian who had anything to do with the War of 1812, so take three DQs.
Not … Benny?
DQ.
I’ll be your friend and help you carry on, even if I can’t remember the name. DQ.
Not Kari Byron.
Not sure if this is Grant or the other guy, so DQ.
Not Buster.
(Who’s Benjamin Button when he’s up and dressed?)
B
- Real
- Male
- Dead
- Last name does not start with B
- American
- Died after 1950
- Primarily known for the Arts
- Did not die of natural causes
- Not born east of the Mississippi
- Born south of the Mason-Dixon Line
Bother - just realised this is probably something to do with The Life of Brian, and is therefore Brian. Oh, well. If I’m right, take the DQ anyway.
IQ: Were you known for your less than mainstream sexual tastes?
IQs:
- Was your dog named Tige?
- Did you star in Blue Lagoon?
- Were you a time traveling athlete from the 25th Century who came to the present day to gain fame as a superhero?
DQ.
Not … Buster Brown?
Not Brooke Shields.
I’m sure this is an LSH reference, but can’t think who it was. DQ.
Benny is correct. (“Benny and the Jets,” by Elton John.)
Bill Withers sang “Lean on Me.”
Life of Brian is the correct movie. I was actually looking for Pilate’s friend Biggus Dickus. He was with Pilate on the dais; Brian was in front of and below Pilate on the dais. Good belated call though!
DQ: Known for the performing arts?
One DQ reserved.
That was Bob Crane.
DQ: Murderer faced prosecution?
Yep, Buster Brown (who lived in a shoe) and Brooke.
#3 isn’t an LSH reference directly: Booster Gold stole Brainiac 5’s force field belt and time machine to get to the 20th Century.
I’ll wait on my DQ.
Run that by me again?
Since they didn’t die naturally, I’m assuming death by homicide.
B
- Real
- Male
- Dead
- Last name does not start with B
- American
- Died after 1950
- Primarily known for the Arts
- Did not die of natural causes
- Not born east of the Mississippi
- Born south of the Mason-Dixon Line
- Probably best known for the performing arts, but known for other activities (artistic and otherwise - see DQ7) as well
- Killer did not face prosecution
A homicide is possible, of course, but “not by natural causes” doesn’t have to imply a homicide. The death could be caused by a single-car accident, a suicide, “death by misadventure” which is a coroner’s term for a fatal unforeseen accident, and so on.
Previous IQs:
Were you Ozymandias’s pet? - Bubastis, a huge, genetically-engineered lynx in Watchmen.
Were you an Irish-American gangster long on the lam? - “Whitey” Bulger.
Is KISS’s best-known slow ballad named after you? - Beth.
DQ:
Died since 1990?
Actor?
Likely killer known to the public?
Lemme think of some more IQs.
IQ1: Were you comforted by Juan Romero after you were shot?
IQ2: Do we know you from such films as “All About Eve,” and “Now, Voyager”?
IQ3: Did you portray Sue Ann Nivens?
See The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - Wikipedia for Benjamin Button.
You were right in identifying that all three were from Mythbusters - I’ve been watching it a lot recently
1 is, as you say, Kari Byron
2 is Tory Belleci
3 is, as you say, Buster the crash test dummy
