I have combined etv’s last DQ with DQ 16, and have slightly reworded EH’s last DQ. (To me, “a musician” is an instrumentalist.)

By my count, Spoons has 4 reserved DQs, Le Ministre and Elendil’s Heir have 3 each, and fanganga and Prof P have 1 each.

I’ll be back in a few hours to answer all accumulated questions…

Bobby Kennedy was comforted by Juan Romero. Bette Davis was in “All About Eve” and “Now, Voyager”; and Betty White played Sue Ann Nivens on the “Mary Tyler Moore Show.”

Hm. Thinking…

#3 was Billy Murray. (No relation to Bill Murray.)

To me, a musician is one who makes music by any means. Then you can get more specific as to a composer, singer, instrumentalist, etc.

Previous IQs:

Were you the hero of the Walking Tall movies? - Yes, Buford Pusser.
Did you write the short story collection Manifest Destiny? - Barry Longyear.
Did you appear, seated, in a Pepsi ad with a singer and a dog? - Bob Dole: Britney Spears Pepsi Commercial with Bob Dole [High Quality] - YouTube

I have no idea who this guy is. I yield any of my accumulated DQs to whoever would like to ask them (just one, I guess, since we’re at 19 DQs already).

DQ: Rapper?

Stumped. I can’t even think of a useful DQ to move the puck up the ice. Just as well, seeing we don’t have any left.

Just so’s you know, making a distinction between singers and musicians is something that really ticks us singers off, as it implies that singers somehow aren’t musicians.

Ministre-I don’t make that distinction.

Yeah, to me a musician is anyone connected with music: that would include not only singers or instrumentalists, but arrangers, composers, music producers…

But I’m still coming up blank on who this guy is.

Add me to the camp that says that the “musician” category includes singers, composers, instrumentalists, etc.

And I’m drawing a blank as well.

Good heavens - only one DQ, and not a single last-minute IQ?

Okay, one DQ for each of the six people who have already been awarded DQs, in the “Are you Firstname Lastname?” format.

A clue for those who really want one: Often wore green headgear.

My best guess, which is most probably wrong, is:

DQ: Are you Bobby Darin?

I am not.

I’m baffled. I yield my “Are you Firstname Lastname?” question to anyone who’d like to ask it.

I’ll be home around 7 EDT this evening, and will announce victory or defeat then.

I can only think of one American celebrity with a first name starting with B who died before his time and hasn’t already come up. I think he doesn’t fulfill all the DQs, but I’ll ask anyway. Are you Bill Hicks?

I am not.

That’s it? Nobody else? I am singer-songwriter, author, actor, and US Army combat medic SSG Barry Sadler.

Put silver wings on my son’s chest…
I can say without qualification I would never have guessed him. Good one, SCAdian!

Yes, indeed. A (uniformed) one-hit wonder.

Moving right along: I am J.
Offhand, how many of you recognise the following names?
Sergio Aragonés
Scott McCloud
Antonio Prohias
Álvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca
(I considered using one of these, but thought they might be too obscure.)

Sca-Don’t recognize any of those, nor who you did use.

IQ: Were you fixed up with the help of the A-rod people like?
IQ2- Did you write a song recounting 40 years of 20th c. history?
IQ3: Are you from the “Small Town” of Seymour, IN?
