So - on to the “Are you Firstname Lastname?” questions, then…
I’ll have to pass.
I made my guesses already in my IQs and have nothing left. Pass…
Hint: The story is set in the Mediterranean theatre. And DQ 16 is important.
Prof and KO, if this makes you think of someone go ahead and ask your DQs.
Ok, I just remembered Anzio. Are you Corporal Jack Rabinoff?
I’m coming up blank. I yield my question to whoever wishes it.
I am not.
Waiting on Tim and astorian…
If I haven’t heard from them by noon tomorrow, I’ll give the answer before I leave for work.
I’m out, drawing a blank.
I got nothing… just the observation that “technically” a flyboy in WW2 would probably be part of the Army, as the Air FOrce didn’t exist. So, we MAY be looking for a fictional WW2 pilot.
I am P-38 pilot and POW Col Joseph “von” Ryan, USAAF, star of the book Von Ryan’s Express (and its sequel) and of the movie based on it, in which I was portrayed by Frank Sinatra.
