Botticelli March 2023

Well, I think that’s over and done with anyway. Do as you please.

How about:

IQ:

Are you a British actress who has played a princess, a spy, a kidnapping victim and a well-armed fairytale character?

Reinterpreting EH’s third IQ as “Were you the father of a person I mistakenly thought had been a Cub Scout on a certain date?”, and answering his second DQ:

2. Female
3. First name begins with G
4. Living

I believe Chock has one remaining DQ, and DLR has two.

IQ:

Are you a British actress who has played a princess, a spy, a kidnapping victim and a well-armed fairytale character?

I recognize her face, but didn’t know her name or that she was British.

Final DQs:
1. last name begins from A-M?
2. appeared in a Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts movie?

Last DQ: Movies adapted from a Young Adult (YA)/children’s book(s)?

To save time, I’m going to accept EH’s last IQ as a replacement for his faulty one, say “DQ”, and answer his remaining DQ from before.

So. Please ask your final “Firstname Lastname” DQs not later than noon EDT tomorrow (Mon 27 Mar).

Though I expect someone will ask the right question within the next hour or two…

I’m guessing it’s the actress for either Susan or Lucy Pevensie in the Narnia films. Unfortunately I don’t know any of the child actor names.

Harry Potter is explicitly ruled out by #25. Most of the other YA film series are either American-made (Twilight, Percy Jackson) or the wrong time frame after 2010 (Hunger Games, Divergent, Maze Runner) or stalled after one film (His Dark Materials was British, Lemony Snicket) so not a series. Narnia is the only one left that I can think of that isn’t ruled out by a DQ answer.

I’ve seen the first Narnia movie a half-dozen times, ‘cause my grandson loved it so. I remember Lucy’s actresses’ name being similar to the romance novelist Georgette Heyer, but that’s all.

I am Georgie Henley, who played Lucy in the Narnia films.

You may claim victory if you wish.

As I see it, either Prof. Peppenwinkle’s guess was close enough for the win, so he goes next, or else no one knew the name of the actress in question so by default it goes back to Prof. Peppenwinkle.

So either way, I think you’re up next professor. Congratulations!

No one remembered the name, not no one knew it.

Exactly. I’ve seen the movie, but couldn’t quite remember her name.

So, that means SCAdian goes again.

Right-oh.

I am

Thanks for the rules clarification
