LolaCocaCola–you bought me a Baboon
The baboon is the largest of all the Old World monkeys. They live in groups of between 10 and 100, although usually about 40 stay together throughout their lives. They stick very close together for safety, and no baboon wanders very far from the group at any time. Each group of baboons has a dominant male, who makes all of the decisions and generally looks after the others. Baboons wander the African plains, feeding on plants, buds, and fruit. They often stay close to where gazelle’s are grazing, each species of animal alerting the other if danger is near.
But it is a very nice baboon. I have a Monkey Butler!
lel–is that the whole “lathe of heaven” thing?
Mr. Blue Sky—yes, but only if you ask for them with your #3000 post. Too late for you, ha-ha-ha!
Kat–Initiation into the Illuminati.
elephant shoes–what kind of elephant shoes were you wearing, while walking around & chanting? Keds? And who puts taps on Keds?
Snugglebear—so, I guess the “ack” means you gave me a hairball for my 3000th post. Damn shedding! Every year the same thing…
Lobsang—your posts are just too wordy, man. Tighten up your prose style, man.
Flamsterette_X—just the link, lady! No need to go wild, I know I’m irresistable, woman, but try to control yourself!
A very stylish choice of links, YappingPoodle. Creative and promising. And you’re more gracious than a certain mythologically-named female poster who shall remain nameless, who shows up at a party, & doesn’t bring a lousy link!
I am Sparticus–classy, very classy.
Keep yer “dog posts” to yerself, pravnik. Only “dog post” I know of is the one on the corner, where all the local strays…uhh skip it.
Such a warm response for a weekend!
