For those of you that don’t follow boxing or simply don’t know…
I just can’t understand why a Pound for Pound top ten boxer would think this was a good idea. He’s obviously a big name and was always going to get caught out! Several smaller names have been done for it now and as a result it’s become something that is checked out. It sets a terrible precedent if he doesnt get cracked down on very seriously.
As well as this, does this mean he knew he was going to lose? Surely, being the heavy favourite, the only reason he’d have done this would have been because he was expecting to lose without cheating his way through.
What do people think will come from this? How many boxers will still want to fight him? Having just lost to a supposedly lesser opponent and also having attempted to fix the bout. What will happen with his license? What the HELL was he thinking?
