Y’know, some people are sorta both, or neither . . . Not that I’d know anything about such matters, but I been told.

Without reading the responses, I’d say “guy”. I was reminded of two recent differences of opinion I had with Long Time First Time about people we saw. One was a contestant on a TV quiz show, the other a clerk that rang up our purchases at the grocery store. In both cases, I felt the sexually ambiguous individual was male, while she opted for female. I’m now going to read the thread and test my theory that says people will generally place someone among members of their own sex if the individual being observed is androgynous.
I vote sorta both. Or neither. Maybe male.
I vote guy. I showed the photos to my daughter and she voted guy.
Androgynous, perhaps. But androgynous with an adam’s apple.
Guy. I could believe that’s a very masculine looking woman, but without further proof, I wouldn’t bet on it.
My first instinct says “girl.”
I vote for boy. If I’m wrong, I feel bad for her, because she’s not a good-looking girl. But I still don’t understand the controversy. And in the first picture in the clothing shots, the full-length picture…boy.
I’m going to hazard a guess and say… female, because the outcome of debates like these can be pretty counterintuitive.

Look at this picture. Male for sure, but man or woman? You can only know by asking him/her.
Male. Partly b/c of the physical attributes that were already mentioned, and partly b/c all the other models on that page are male. Why would they take a masculine-looking girl and mix her up in men’s clothes with pics of other male models?

Man, but he sould lose the earrings and the bracelet and change the hair some to avoid confusion. In the 80’s, with that hair, I would have voted young woman, but the pic where he is smiling is too manly to be a woman.
I’m going to go with female. But if they turned out to be a male, I wouldn’t be surprised.
