BP attempts to shift blame for spill

I pulled in to a gas station yesterday. Only after I began pumping did I realize I was purchasing BP gasoline. Oh well. But then I realized that they were actively attempting to shift blame for the spill. To me.

Rat Bastards.

So, it is YOUR fault!
Shame on you!

Not your fault.

*Matt Simmons is perhaps the world’s most well-known petroleum geologist. At 68, he’s been in the oil business for forty years. Since the minute the BP Macondo blowout happened, he’s said that 1) the well-bore is fatally compromised; 2) BP has been consistently lying about their attempts to fix it and; 3) a second oil “gusher” – some distance from the drilling site itself – is flooding into the Gulf.

He reckons, despite the recent claims of a successful capping, a massive “oil lake” is still growing 4000 to 5000 feet below the surface of the Gulf. He also warns that during this storm season hurricanes will send clouds of methane gas toward the Gulf shore. He’s even advocating the evacuation of certain Gulf Coast counties.*

It should be noted that BP said “your are responsible for spills”. plural. So it’s worse than we thought. Not only is kayaker responsible for the current spill, he’s responsible for multiple spills. Why do you hate the environment so much?

Wait, you are responsible for all spills everywhere? Dude, what’s your problem!

Shhh, we don’t want to say anything that might upset Kayaker. Nice fluffy friendly harmless mood, that what we want. (Particularly if you are an octopus).

Are you a liberal? Then you’re responsible for EVERY bad thing: solid, liqiud or gas; animal, mineral or vegetable.

I suppose the oil spills are mineral, so that’s covered, but what does poor kayaker have to do to make animal and vegetable spills?

Oh no, I think I get it. Dog piss, etc. And for vegetable, perhaps benanas and other fruits that go all overripe and uneaten and gloopy and liquidy and nasty …

If you’re concerned about accidental spillage, can I suggest taking precautions?

I though this is what you meant by taking precautions against spills…

Honestly, you disgust me.
