Bra Visible In a Professional Setting

Some people tell me that one reason to have a visible bra strap is so “people see you’re wearing a bra” . . . and thus think you’re, like, “way old” or mature or developing or something. I had a friend some years ago who would consciously expose her bra strap. What-ever.

 Whoa

Well, talk about repeat busine … No, wait … please, he means they changed into different uniforms somewhere back in the lav (which must have been extremely cumbersome) and then showed off their nifty new get-up.

I gotta control those random mental associations, really…

And BTW I’ve actually read Coffee, Tea or Me. Jay-zus Kee-ryest! Couldn’t get published today…
Back to the subject at hand, I do wonder why many women’s uniform/officewear blouses are made so flimsy. My hypothesis is that someone, somewhere, decided that a heavier more opaque fabric looked too “manly”. (As for men’s shirts, I can’t stand wearing a nice, pressed, starched broadcloth shirt w/o a something under it.) So I’d say the original FA couldn’t help it and was within professional parameters; and at the same time Quasi couldn’t help noticing and he may be at peace with himself just storing it away in the “OK, that was curious” file.

Thank you so much. It meant a lot.

Thanks

Quasi

Yikes, are you sure we should even be talking about anything being ribbed?

Anyway, I agree with the above that it’s cool if you want to get some voyeuristic pleasure out of it, but it’s not like it was intentional or anything. In fact, I think that this is probably what you were alluding to in your OP when you said that you had mixed feelings.

Well of course that’s what I meant. I don’t remember the name of this airline, they only did this on long flights, it was one of the signature “services” (if you can call it that) that the airline was famous for.

If that stew was like me, the choice of underwear depends on the status of my laundry basket. Maybe she had left her strapless bra back in the closet in the home base city.

Not sure how a strapless bra would help, but I doubt a flight attendant would even consider wearing one on duty.

BTW, all this fuss over a visible bra. God forbid she was wearing sheer white pants with thong undies.

Who the heck wears sheer white pants?? Unless, of course, they want the attention - which is fine, but makes the so-called “fuss” unnecessary.
