Brady Bunch trivia

Correct!

I know it was Star Trek, and I know it was two aliens, but I can’t remember who. Probably Leonard Nimoy and someone else?

At any rate Dio nailed the answer way back in post #2.

According to a trivia site I saw, it was not two aliens.

It was not the first day of filming, it was her screen test. Her flight was delayed so she was late, so she sought out the closest makeup man.

Well, according to MLB.com

MTS1-Name the members of the TV show’s cast that appeared in the two Brady Bunch movies.
(Good thing I previewed, I had typed cats instead of cast.)

t11: Cheaper by The Dozen

Florence Henderson and Ann B. Davis.

t3: Pizzeria (sorry, can’t remember the name)

t5: Either a bigamist, a con artist, or both.

Florence Henderson, Ann B Davis, Barry Williams, Chris Knight.

MST1: Also, Barry Williams and Christopher Knight.

Half credit each for t3 and t5.

ChefGuy, t11 was already correctly answered as Yours, Mine, and Ours.

t17: In the second movie, what were the names of the two ladies who donated something (not the horse) the the Ladies’ Auxilliary Charity Auction?

t18: In the 1st movie, what was Doug Simpson not after?

TOS questions:

t19: What was the name of Greg’s band?

t20: What did the Cartoon King get Bobby to do?

t21: It was sad when Romeo died. It was sad when Juliet died. What was the saddest thing of all?

t22: What was Jan’s undiscovered talent?

t13 reprise: A young actress appeared in both BB and Star Trek episodes. Which ones?

t21a: What role did Marcia play?

The Banana Convention. Word is that they treally got it together and wailed and bent the gig out of shape.

I believe Bobby said “Who goes there?” before Peter said “Hark!”

I read somewhere that one “controversial” element was that Mike was a widower but Carol was divorced. Was her ex, ie the girls’ biological father, ever mentioned?

Sherwood Schwartz claims he came up with the mixed family idea long before “Yours Mine and Ours” was made. He had pitched the “Brady Bunch” concept for several years but no network wanted to touch it. Then “Yours Mine and Ours” came out and was a hit so ABC came back to him and ordered a pilot.

Mike Brady must have been cutting classes the day they taught plumbing, though. Six kids of equally mixed genders sharing one bathroom with NO toilet? Come on! Even Wally and the Beaver had a toilet in their bathroom. :dubious:

Not in the original series. I think he might have shown up in one of the successor series, and IIRC it was a major plot point in the first movie.

But you’re right in general: the daring divorced women of 1970s TV had invisible exes. Kind of like how Tony Randall’s “Sidney” was daringly gay… because they quietly said so about every fourth episode.

nm, prolly should’ve read al lthe responses first.
