Yeah, Germany has looked the better team all day. France has occasionally looked dangerous in the breakaways but I think this is Germany’s game to lose.
Germany looked pretty steady there. They’ll be a tough nut for anyone.
France just seemed too timid for much of that. Ah well, Germany in the semis - that’s par for them I think.

I think France were flattered earlier in the tournament by not playing top opposition. As soon as they played a better standard of team they were shown up for what they are - average.
Don’t know if it translates across cultures but I suggest Germany were “workmanlike” there. Not a bad thing from their point of view as it suggests a greater degree of solidity and organisation. Mind you, I can’t make up my mind if they nullified France or France just misfired.
