The solution is obvious, give Messi German citizenship for the final.
From what I’ve seen, Holland has the potential to be worse than Germany.

While Argentina was the second most popular country for emigration from Europe during the great wave of emigration (after the U.S.), German emigrants were second tier there. About one and a half million each from Spain and Italy, and then in the low hundreds of thousands from countries such as Germany, France, Austria, etc. So German immigrant culture was certainly enough to be noticeable, but not predominant.
