Doesn’t really change my point. Who tucks the details of confidential bank accounts into a picture frame? Especially a drug lord who has already been investigated recently by the police. A cayman island bank account (if it contains large sums) is incriminating even if he’s just getting investigated for suspected tax fraud on his Chicken chain.
You just don’t leave shit like that lying around.
So far everything previous that lead Hank to Gus were mistakes other people made, eg Gail having a Los Pollos Hermanos menu was careless on Gail’s part, not anything Gus did.
Best part of the episode, when the junk yard guy is listing all the things they need to get away from the magnet.
JUNK YARD GUY: All right, guns, knives, tools, keys, plates in your head, uh, artificial hips…
And Walt gestures toward Mike questioningly. Awesome. It reminded me of the scene last season when Walt’s explaining to Skylar how he got punched out by Mike and said, “I had a disagreement with a co-worker, and I didn’t retaliate because he’s a much older gentleman.”
My only question now is whether Future Walt is living on his own, incognito in NH, or if he’s in Witness Protection and coming into town to kill someone (Jesse?) who could screw up his deal with the Feds. Since I assume they wouldn’t give Walt Witness Protection if he told them how many people he’s really killed.
I think the part you misheard was something like
“Just like bettikers drawings” (no idea how to spell Gails last name)
or maybe he said “Gail Bettikers”
I had to run that spot a couple times to figure out what he said.
I have a question about earlier seasons - I’ve caught up to the end of season 2 so far, and one thing has bugged me.
Do we ever find out what Walt did with Crazy-8’s body?
I mean, disposing of the other guy was a major plot point, but somehow Walt made Crazy-8 disappear without Jesse’s (perhaps dubious) help. Up to the end of season 2, it’s never mentioned again, far as I know.
When Walt and Mike were arguing about the evidence room, and Mike thought that Walt wanted to destroy the building, Mike said something like:
“A nursing home full of old people wasn’t enough for you? Now you want to kill a bunch of cops?”
So does Mike have a moral line he’s hesitant to cross? Was it just because he was a cop at one time? Was he just challenging Walt’s own willingness to do such a thing? Was he just concerned about the shitstorm that would occur if they blew up a police station?
