Agreed. I would be shocked if this didn’t happen too.
I’ll say again: if you want to commit suicide, ricin is a bad way to go. Cyanide kills pretty much instantly and (as far as I know) painlessly; ricin takes several days to work and it sounds awful. It makes much more sense as a poison to slip to someone else, which is why Walt originally made the stuff.
Yeah, I can’t see anyone suiciding with the ricin. I think with all the tea/stevia obsession, and the prior aborted attempt, Lydia will wind up drinking it. Possibly as her last scene - we know she’s getting dosed with it as she sips her (chamomile with soy milk? BARF) tea, and we know she’ll die, but we never see it.
I kind of want to see Marie poison someone too - she did some good research, and she has little to lose now. But I assume that therapy scene was more about showing where her character was mentally, and she is likely to end up with the White kids - maybe the only survivors of the whole mess.
I really doubt Grey Matter will be significantly involved in the finale; nor are we likely to get crazy twist revelations. I know fans love to try to puzzle out what will happen next through all the “clues,” but IMHO a lot of the alleged clues are really more about theme and character building than “if you watch closely you can figure out what happens next in the plot.” Grey Matter was brought up to motivate Walt to go full bore against the people who stole his empire, by tweaking his ego. It also brings the story and character back around to meet the beginning - how did this all get started? Walt’s pride shooting itself in the foot by making him leave GM and missing out on that empire, and then his determination not to humble himself in front of the Schwartzes when he got sick. It’s appropriate that them poo-pooing his original contributions, and doubting his significance as Heisenberg, in a public forum, would make him gear up for the blaze of glory.
I think this is spot on.
Flynn is just about eighteen years old, so I don’t think he’ll need a legal guardian.
Even if Skyler is out of prison and alive, would Marie be able to sue for custody by getting CPS involved (if they’re not already… they must be though right?) by showing what a danger it is to live in the White household?

I think it’s purely his respect for Walt. That time he told his uncle the story of the Great Train Robbery, you could tell Todd was just in awe of Walt’s abilities.[/QUOTE
Walt could use the trust and respect Todd has for Walt on two fronts. First Walt tells Todd he is coming back to take control of the meth making operation, after all who better qualified? At the meet Walt convinces Todd that Lydia is a dangerous loose end and needs to be eliminated and convinces Todd to slip her the Ricin at their next meet. Skylar is reminded of the importance of Lydia by Todd’s visit and strikes a deal with the DEA. The DEA begins tailing Lydia after Todd as already slipped her the Ricin and through Lydia find the compound. Walt is watching from a distance as the DEA invades the compound, gunfire erupts and Jack and his gang including Todd are killed. The DEA finds Jesse in his cage and escorts from the compound. Heisenberg witnesses this and goes crazy with his m60 but is ineffective. As the camera pans back the dirt around Jesse’s feet is innocently kicked up by Walt’s machine gun fire, the camera then zooms in on Heisenberg gone crazy face, fade to black.
In a flash back the news is reporting someone in the local ABQ area is holding the winning powerball ticket, camera pans out we see Skylar standing at the fridge with half gallon of orange juice eyeballing a powerball lottery ticket as the news announcer reads off the numbers.
I think the lottery numbers joke has already been played out: It was the Nazis who won the jackpot.

I kind of want to see Marie poison someone too - she did some good research, and she has little to lose now. But I assume that therapy scene was more about showing where her character was mentally, and she is likely to end up with the White kids - maybe the only survivors of the whole mess.
I wonder if Marie’s internet poison research will come back into play? She only had a few seconds of screen time in 5.15, I would expect to see more of her grief and reaction in 5.16. She wants Walt dead and has had a few months to stew over revenge for Hank’s death.

Flynn is just about eighteen years old, so I don’t think he’ll need a legal guardian.
Shoulda kept his mouth shut and taken the 100k, then. That kid ain’t getting into Caltech.
I’ll just list who I think will die:
Walt kills himself
Todd is killed by Jessie
Uncle Jack is killed by Walt
Lydia is killed by Walt
Lydia is killed by the ricin
I think Walt will die by poison, whether it’s his own ricin or something else. My primary candidates to administer the poison are Skylar and Marie. This makes sense since Walt claims to be all about family at the same time he is destroying his family. It also would be interesting if Marie becomes a murderer and then gets custody of Holly as a result.
Regarding the ricin, tea, and Stevia, note in the “Granite State” episode that we also see Todd drinking tea. It is fairly subtle, but maybe not subtle enough, to indicate that Walt may try to poison one of them and accidentally dose the other one. Again, if this happens some will say it was too obviously telegraphed since we saw Todd drinking tea as part of his attempt to cozy up to Lydia.
At this point, a lot of these subtleties may be slight misdirections or mean something completely different when we reflect on them after the last episode. For example, here is a comment that represents a different take on the Todd and Lydia meeting:
The reference to Stevia wasn’t completely out of the blue. I agree it might indicate some ricin foreshadowing, but I think it was also to show the contrast in her relationship with Todd as compared to Mike. When she first met with Mike in the coffee shop, she was not in control. They didn’t have the tea she wanted, they didn’t have Stevia when she asked for it, and Mike wouldn’t let her dictate the terms of their conversation. When she meets with Todd in the upscale coffee shop, they have her tea, her Stevia, and she runs the meeting the way she wants. She perceives herself as being in control, when we all know that she isn’t. This will be her eventual downfall.

I think Skyler will die after having her name mangled one too many times. I do think it’s significant that they showed Todd drinking tea in the last episode, but I don’t know if that means he could end up getting poisoned or if it means his thing for Lydia is going to culminate in the last episode. It’d be just desserts if Todd killed her, I guess, but the show has never really resolved problems that way. I have trouble imagining Lydia sitting down for tea with Walt given what’s happened. She’s so afraid of exposure that she wanted Todd to kill Skyler for seeing her one time, so I don’t know that she’d sit down with a wanted fugitive.
I just remembered that Walt almost put ricin in Lydia’s tea in “Gliding Over All.” He bought the capsule with him when he met her at a restaurant to talk business and was going to use it if she refused to give up the names of Mike’s guys. I don’t know what that portends for Sunday, though.

I’ll just list who I think will die:
Walt kills himself
Todd is killed by Jessie
Uncle Jack is killed by Walt
Lydia is killed by WaltLydia is killed by the ricin
It’s not a spoiler if you you’re guessing like a million other people in this thread. Anyway, I like your list except for Walt killing himself. He doesn’t need to; he’s already dead from the cancer. The most satisfying death to see for Walt is him all alone, watching him taking his last breath, dead from cancer. Fade to black on the miserable old bastard that ruined so many lives.
Walt seems so unconcerned in the flash forwards. Surely he needs more time to take care of business. Obviously, Carol is going to be on the phone to the cops as soon as she can move her limbs. Unless he has already finished and the machine gun in the trunk never gets used.
The way I want it to end: Walt takes the ricin, gets in a car chase with the cops, gets all shot up, the car flips and the last scene is Walt’s head and shoulders framed in the car window, laughing his ass off. Like in the scene when he’s under the house, framed by the trapdoor, laughing hysterically when he realizes the money is gone.
I really hope no more innocents are killed. Hank’s execution was bad enough, but Andrea’s was like a gut punch.

Bloody hell, I don’t envy the writers. Have the stakes for a final episode of a show ever been higher?

You do realize that this will be the musical episode featuring tracks by The Fray, don’t you?
With all of the foreshadowing they’ve done over the entire series, I’m almost 100% sure that Marie will end up with, at least, Holly. Don’t know if it will be because Skyler dies or in prison (or something else), but Marie will end up with the baby she never could have herself.

Agreed. I would be shocked if this didn’t happen too.
The show never does what you expect. Therefore, this is not going to happen.

Ah! But now you expect that it won’t happen. So…
